Spending time in nature is so good for my soul. It lifts me up, calms and inspires me. There are so many amazing creatures around us that we don't often appreciate because we are caught up in our own "bubbles." Through my art, I want to bring an awareness of these beautiful animals that share our world.

About the Artist

I'm a Cincinnati, westside native now living in Bright, Indiana with my husband, three kids and numerous four legged pets. For as long as I can remember, the love of animals both wild and domestic has been a part of who I am. The main subject of my artwork has always been wildlife and I can't imagine that changing. Working in acrylic, colored pencil and inks on mostly wood, sometimes stone and recently bourbon barrel lids, I do my best to convey the spirit of each animal I paint. I"ve been creating artwork for over 30 years and have a BFA from the College of Mount St Joseph. My work can be found at the Cincinnati Pendleton Center, the Cincinnati Nature Center and online.
