“Driven to Abstraction”

As an artist, my journey has been one of evolution and exploration, marked by a transformation from realism to impressionism, and ultimately, to abstraction. “Driven to Abstraction” encapsulates not only the progression of my artistic style over the span of 25 years but also the energy and dynamism inherent in this latest phase of my creative expression.

With each brushstroke, I seek to convey a sense of movement, vitality, and depth. My work is characterized by its large-scale canvases adorned with layers upon layers of paint, each contributing to the intricate tapestry of colors and textures that define the final composition. Much like the hummingbird, known for its boundless energy and ceaseless motion, my paintings pulsate with a vibrant energy that captivates the viewer’s attention and invites them to embark on a visual journey.

In this collection, energy is not merely a concept but a tangible force that animates every corner of the canvas. Each brushstroke is imbued with a sense of urgency, propelling the viewer from one dynamic area to the next. The interplay of form and line, shape and texture, creates a visual symphony that transcends the boundaries of traditional representation, inviting interpretation and contemplation.

Through “Driven to Abstraction,” I invite the viewer to join me on a voyage of discovery, where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, and where the sheer power of artistic expression knows no limits. I hope that this collection ignites a spark of curiosity and wonder, inspiring all who behold it to embrace the beauty and complexity of the abstract realm.

The event is finished.
