Some of the images I create will amuse you (as well as me), some will affect you emotionally, and some might even make you scratch your head. My hope is that each has provoked your thoughts in some way.

About the Artist

I became a sculptor in 2001, after nearly 35 years as a professor of sociology at the University of Cincinnati. I studied stone and wood carving with Walter Driesbach and continue to work with Christopher Daniel on sculpting steel.

My abstract-representational style shows the strong influences of Cycladic and Inuit sculptors as well as more recent masters like Brancusi and Hepworth.
