Hi! I'm Tracy. I paint with fire and molten wax-- that is to say, I work primarily with encaustic medium. As a mixed media artist with a background in photography and pediatric grief counseling, I offer both 2D and 3D artwork. When not working, I can usually be found with a camera in hand exploring the great big world around me. Visit me on Final Fridays or give me a call to stop by! I work full-time and can be available most days.

About the Artist

Tracy Casagrande Clancy is an American artist whose work is distinctive in its experimental layering of images. As a mixed media artist, heat is essential to Casagrande Clancy’s practice; it moves the paint and images to places which cannot be reached with a paintbrush alone. Using encaustic medium as her primary entry into expression, her work is informed by her previous career as a Pediatric Grief Counselor.  In creating both two dimensional and sculptural work, Casagrande Clancy uses her art as a means to search for our interconnectedness in the wider world.
