My love for photography started in high school in the early 1990s. I graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelors of Art in Photography. I learned photography the old school way, shooting negatives and developing chemical black & white and color prints in the darkroom. I went all digital in 2005.
I developed my photojournalistic style by biking or driving around with my camera to see what people, places, or adventures I could shoot. I love to pack all my equipment and props for a day or weekend trip to wonder small towns and countryside. I capture anything that catches my eye.
Most days of the week, I would ride my mountain bike, camera in tow. I would wonder through the city streets of Covington, Newport, and Cincinnati, and all along the banks of the Ohio River. A great deal of my portfolio came about through this process along with my other favorite subject - the local music scene.
In 2018, I founded Kromer Studios, specializing in Photography, Archival Printing, and Fine Art Reproduction. With 30 years photography experience, I can do a range of work: portraits, real estate, band photography, and more. As a full service printer, I make high resolution scans of your fine art in order to archive and preserve it or to make prints of any size.
