John is a painting instructor at the Middletown Arts Center. His oil or acrylic painting class is held on Monday mornings 10:00 - 12:00. Beginners and experienced painters are all welcome. To register for his class please phone 513-424-2417.

John has received many awards at various art shows. Recently John completed a project containing a series of 30 oil portraits of notable civil rights leaders, which caught the attention of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Journal News, and TV Channel 19 Evening News. This project has been displayed at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, The Oxford Community Arts Center, the Reading Ars Center, a solo exhibit at the Fairfield Community Art Center, and is currently on display in the main 2nd floor gallery of the Pendleton Arts Center Middletown.
