I have always been interested in buildings and structures of all kinds. As a boy I built small cities of clay and sticks, forts and huts of stones and cast-off wood. Now I paint them using oil and (mostly) wooden panels.

About the Artist

A lifelong Cincinnati artist, I have always been by both built and natural architecture. With my painting I explore the contrasts, contradictions and ultimate harmony in the landscape of the southwestern Ohio region. I draw upon the memories and observations gathered from years as a delivery driver around the area, and use a Precisionist technique and rich color to bring them to life.
